Timeusb LiFePO4 batteries are not meant to be used as starting batteries. They are specifically designed for energy storage and lack the Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) required for starting applications.

Q: What are the ways to charge Timeusb LiFePO4 Lithium batteries? Can I charge with solar panels?
A:
There are 3 ways to charge Timeusb LiFePO4 lithium batteries:
1. Using Solar Panels
The battery can be fully charged in one day (with effective sunshine 4.5 hrs/day) by 1000W solar panels. It may take more than one day to fully charge the battery by ≥1000W solar panels since the duration and intensity of light would be a great factor for their charging efficiency.
2. Using Generator or Alternator
The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V.
The Recommended Charging Current:
① 44A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity.
② 110A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.
3. Using LiFePO4 Smart Chargers (Recommended)
To charge 12V battery, it is recommended to use 14.6V battery charger.
The Recommended Charging Voltage: 14.2V - 14.6V.
The Recommended Charging Current:
① 44A (0.2C): the battery will be fully charged in around 5 hrs to 100% capacity.
② 110A (0.5C): the battery will be fully charged in around 2 hrs to around 97% capacity.
Of course you can charge with solar panels.

The Timeusb 12V battery supports a variety of connections, including series, parallel, and series-parallel configurations. You can connect up to 4 batteries in series (4S), 4 batteries in parallel (4P), or 16 batteries in a series-parallel configuration (4P4S).
